We recently used the MAXAIR® PAPR for respiratory protection on an O.C. tear gas decontamination job. The lightweight HEPA system provided us with ease of decontamination, a clear, wide field of vision w/o fogging up, consistent long lasting battery life w/no memory, and no 2nd guessing due to the low battery & low airflow indicators. After 8 hours working in an often head down position there was no discomfort in the neck or shoulders. My favorite feature is the “hoseless” concept which eliminated the bulky blower unit and “snagging” of hoses!
